The International climate change conference in Copenhagen.
From December 7-18 this year world leaders will be meeting in the Denmark capital to discuss a new agreement on global climate change. For many now it is not difficult to realize why such a meeting is important for the survivor of our planet. If world leaders fail to reach an agreement, “it won't just mean less snow on ski slopes, but millions of families in Africa will see their farms turn to dust as the desert advances, many in Asia will die in worsening floods and storms, and some island nations will be threatened by rising seas -- all within 10-15 years”. During this week and always in your ministry remember the cry of the blood of mother Earth and of so many victims of climate change. Think of doing something to bring about climate and environmental conversion.

Candle Light Vigils against Climate Change:

Alliance of Religions and Conservation (ARC):
It is a secular body that helps the major religions of the world to develop their own environmental programs, based on their own core teachings, beliefs and practices. They recently held a conference in Windsor to launch a collection of 7 year plans. Ban Ki-moon acknowledged religion’s vital role in protecting the environment in his keynote address.
